Tots ells tracten sobre el tema de les llengües i la diversitat cultural a l’estat espanyol. Els seus autors són persones del món polític i universitari català i espanyol que, quan hi ha hagut alguna polèmica, han enviat articles d’opinió a aquest diari, que no els ha acceptat. Curiosament, sempre han estat articles que defensaven una visió pluralista de l’estat espanyol. En aquest moment de suposada harmonia entre el catalanisme i els sectors progressistes espanyols, és important recordar algunes coses, especialment que el món intel·lectual progressista espanyol té encara una cara força fosca. És important denunciar la seva incapacitat total de fer una crítica del nacionalisme espanyol i cal denunciar especialment el complex político-empresarial (PRISA, canal plus, etc.) que impedeix que emergeixi aquesta crítica i que parlin els espanyols que s’adonen molt bé de les trampes que s’han fet, algunes de les quals han donat canxa al partit popular per justificar el seu assetjament als partits democràtics catalans i bascos.
